Guide to Installing MagicWaterMark on Your PC
You can download MagicWaterMark Installation File here
if you don't already have a copy.
The Installation-File is a 'ZIP' file containing a single compressed copy of the latest version of 'MagicWaterMark-Vxxxx.exe'
(xxxx is the version number) that can be used to install MagicWaterMark
If needed, you can download a free open-source program called '7-zip' to extract the contents of any 'zip' file from:
7-zip.org
Check your PC is set-up to allow Independant Apps to be Installed
Microsoft want to control, and monetise every App installed on all PCs running Windows.
The default setting only allows Licensed Apps purchased from the Microsoft Store to be installed.
This setting can be checked as follows:
Right-click on the PC Start-Menu and Seletct 'Settings'
Next click on the 'Apps' option
Then Select the 'Advanced app settings'
Open the 'Choose where to get apps' options
Select the option of 'Anywhere but warn me before installing an app that's not from the Microsoft store'
This will enable MagicWaterMark to be installed on your PC just bringing up a warning for you in the process.
Run the MagicWaterMark Installer
Click on the 'MagicWaterMark-Vxxxx.exe' file which is an installer.When the installer starts it will ask you to click to accept the License Terms before being able to click the 'Next' button to continue.
Next a note explaining that MagicWaterMark requires Microsoft '.Net8.0' to be installed on your PC
This is no longer installed with Windows 10 or 11 - but may have been installed with another App.
MagicWaterMark installer should automatically download and install '.Net8.0' from Microsoft Servers if needed.
'.Net8.0' is a large application and may take a little time to download and install.
Optional '.Net8.0 Installation
If you are not online when running the MagicWaterMark installer and your PC does not already have '.Net8.0' istalled the installation cannot complete. Instead you can cancel install '.Net8.0' directly from Microsot when it is convenient to go online.Microsofts '.Net8.0' downlaods are avialable from: download/dotnet/8.0
You need need to select: '.NET Runtime8.0.xx' for OS Windows and normally 'x64' unless your PC uses an Arm64 processor in which case select the 'Arm64' version.
Completing Installation
Installation should normally complete successfully then display a 'Successfully Installed' massage.This explains that the MagicWaterMark App contains 4 versions Starter - Basic - Standard and Premium.
You can test each version as a trial for as long as you wish - but Images created will have an extra watermark added.
We hope you will find MagicWaterMark useful and worth making an inverstment to remove the watermarks.
If you are unsure which version to use, you can try the least expensive Starter Version.
At $7 this is little more that daily coffee!
