MagicWaterMark has been designed for rapid text and image Water-Marking in batches.
The Windows 11 App was created especially for Water-Marking website pictures.
It allows the creation of Water-Marked images in optimum dimensions and file sizes.
Water-Marked files can be saved with original or selected names.

Add a Text WaterMark so People can Find You

WaterMarks on Text Images are not Only to Identify Pictures that belong to You
Maybe more important nowadays is allowing viewers to find You.
Well known brands only need to add a recognisable name.
But most other companies may turn a potential prospect into a customer by letting people know how to find you!
Adding a website URL as a Text Water-Mark may be ideal.
Otherwise a simple email address or phone # can work just as well.

Keeping Text WaterMarks

Each time you close MagicWaterMark, a prompt will ask if you want to save your Created Water-Marks?
You only need to select 'Yes' once unless you want to save changed or extra Water-Marks.
Each time you start MagicWaterMark, all of your saved Water-Marks (Text and Images *) will be reloaded.
* Copies of Images used as Water-Marks are not saved and must remain available in their original location on your PC.

Creating a Text WaterMark and Adding Image Water-Marks

The Text of a WaterMark can include spaces and carriage returns.
Nothing more is required for a Text WaterMark that appears once.
Creating a New Text WaterMark duplicates the existing settings of size, rotation, transparency and font - but not initially the text.
To duplicate a Text WaterMark: first copy it (Ctrl-C), add a New Text WaterMark and then paste the saved text in (Ctrl-V)
Alternatively the FillText option can be selected to add lines of repeated text - with any entered carriage returns ignored.
Image Water-Marks start as selected Images from your PC.

Speed-Up Down-Loads and Save $$$

Website image downloads normally determine how fast a page loads.
Even low end mobiles create good quality images with large file sizes.
Firstly MagicWaterMark allows you to reduce image sizes to fit where they are needed on web pages.
You can then opt to reduce image quality very slightly to drmatically reduce its' file-size.
With Magic WaterMark it's not difficult to reduce you image file-sizes to half or even much less.
Halving the file-sizes of your pictures means your page will down-load twice as fast.
It will also halve your website band-width and may save you $$$!.

Automatically add Text WaterMarks in Unique Colors

MagicWaterMark is unique in automatically creating Text colors that contrast with Pictures being Water-Marked.
A Text color is calculated to contrast with the Picture it is Water-Marking
The calculation uses the exact part of each Picture it is being added to.
You can see this in action by moving the water-mark around an image and watching the color change!
Two other options are also available for setting Text Colors.
Any fixed text color can be selected.
Or dynamically calculated Black or white - chosen to contrast with the Picture being Water-Marked.

Water-Mark Auto-Sizing

MagicWaterMark adjusts the water-mark sizes to look as similar as possible for different sizes and shapes of Pictures.
Water-Mark size can be set as a % of the size of each Picture being Water-Marked.
It can be fixed as a % of Width or Height .
Or it can be set to automatically select the smaller of Width or Height.

Text Water-Mark Outlines

For added contrast a colored outline can be added around a Text Water-Mark.
The outline color can either be automatically calculated to blend in with the Picture being Water-Marked.
Or a fixed outline color can be chosen.

Text Fonts

You can select the font to use for each Tet Water-Mark.
Any True-Type font installed on your PC can be chosen.
Apart from the Font Family, you can also choose the style - such as Normal, Bold, Italic etc.

Water-Mark Transparency

You can select the Transparency of both Text and Image WaterMarks.
Anywhere from Fully Opaque to virtually Transparent

Water-Mark Rotation

You can select the Rotation of both Text and Image WaterMarks.
Any angle from -90 degrees to + 90 degrees van be selected.
This allows you to add Vertical Text Water-Marks.
Image WaterMarks and Text Outlines can also have their 'corners' rounded - in either small steps or large enough to make sqauare images into a circle!

Installation

Guide to Installing MagicWaterMark on Your PC

You can download MagicWaterMark Installation File here if you don't already have a copy.
The Installation-File is a 'ZIP' file containing a single compressed copy of 'MagicWaterMark-V1988.exe' (or later version) that can be used to install MagicWaterMark
If needed, you can download a free open-source program called '7-zip' to extract the contents of any 'zip' file from: 7-zip.org

Check your PC is set-up to allow Independant Apps to be Installed

Microsoft want to control, and monetise every App installed on all PCs running Windows.
The default setting only allows Licensed Apps purchased from the Microsoft Store to be installed.
This setting can be checked as follows:
  Right-click on the PC Start-Menu and Seletct 'Settings'
  Next click on the 'Apps' option
  Then Select the 'Advanced app settings'
  Open the 'Choose where to get apps' options
  Select the option of 'Anywhere but warn me before installing an app that's not from the Microsoft store'
This will enable MagicWaterMark to be installed on your PC just bringing up a warning for you in the process.

Run the MagicWaterMark Installer

Click on the 'MagicWaterMark-V1986.exe' file which is an installer.
When the installer starts it will ask you to click to accept the License Terms before being able to click the 'Next' button to continue.

Next a note explaining that MagicWaterMark requires Microsoft '.Net8.0' to be installed on your PC
This is not installed with Windows 10 or 11 - but may have been installed with another App.
MagicWaterMark installer should automatically download and install '.Net8.0' from Microsoft Servers if needed.
'.Net8.0' is a large application and may take a little time to download and install.

Optional '.Net8.0 Installation

If you are not online when running the MagicWaterMark installer and your PC does not already have '.Net8.0' istalled the installation cannot complete. Instead you can cancel install '.Net8.0' directly from Microsot when it is convenient to go online.
Microsofts '.Net8.0' downlaods are avialable from: download/dotnet/8.0
You need need to select: '.NET Runtime8.0.xx' for OS Windows and normally 'x64' unless your PC uses an Arm64 processor in which case select the 'Arm64' version.

Completing Installation

Installation should normally complete successfully then display a 'Successfully Installed' massage.
This explains that the MagicWaterMark App contains 4 versions Starter - Basic - Standard and Premium.

You can test each version as a trial for as long as you wish - but Images created will have an extra Trial Watermark added.
We hope you will find MagicWaterMark worth making an inverstment to remove the Trial Watermarks.
If you are unsure why not try the least expensive Starter Version?
At $7 this is little more than the cost of daily coffee!

Each License is perpetual for a single PC - so no repeat payments!
Upgrade Licenses are available for all versions and may be purchased whenever you start MagicWaterMark.

It is important to send the full contents of your 'Error-Log' if something appears not to be working correctly.
This can be obtained from the 'File-Menu' by Clicking 'Error Log' or by entering 'Alt L' on your keyboard.
Please just copy and paste the Error-Log contents to the bottom of an email.
Do not send an attachment, unless requested, because this will not be opened.

Licensing

Licenses are offered on a perpetual per-PC-machine basis.
Licenses can only be purchased from an installed working Trial-Version of MagicWaterMark.
Licenses are automatically installed on the PC after making the required payment via PayPal.
In the unfortunate event that your PC malfunctioned at the exact instant you made a payment, please also send full details of your Paypal transaction together with an Error-Log copy.
You can then be provided with an alternative Licensing method - but this will only work on the PC you purchased a License for.

Specification

MagicWaterMark was Created using Microsoft Visual Studio
This specification simply outlines the design features of MagicWaterMark. Actual performance must be checked by installing and running the application before purchasing a License.
The Free Trial version allows actual features to be fully tested before deciding if You are happy to invest in a License.
Pictures WaterMarked with Free Trial software will include Our WaterMark.
The application has been created for PCs running Windows 11 and tested on PCs running Windows 10.
A minimum 8 Gb of RAM is needed with 16 Gb recommended.

Windows dot Net

MagicWaterMark application requires Windows .Net 8 to be installed on your PC.
If needed, MagicWaterMark Installer will download and install .Net 8 directly from Microsofts Servers

PCs running ARM64

The MagicWaterMark Installer may be unable to install .Net 8 automatically for PCs that use ARM64 processors.
If installation fails, please first install .Net 8 directly from Microsoft .

Pictures for WaterMarking

Only the Following Image Types can be WaterMarked by MagicWaterMark:
jpg;jpeg;jpe;jif;jfif;jfi;bmp;png;tiff
WaterMarked Pictures will be saved in either jpg or png format
Most WaterMarked Pictures can be saved in jpg format unless they use Transparency.
The Size of WaterMarked pictures can be scaled down to fit within a selected Height or Width.
The Quality of saved jpg images can be adjusted as required and can significantly reduce file size - speeding up web page load times and reducing bandwidth.

WaterMarks

WaterMarks can be created once and Saved
Saved WaterMarks can be Used or Ignored
Up to 30 text and 10 image WaterMarks can be created
This allows selection for different uses - without the need to recreate them each time.
The number of each type of WaterMark varies according to Your Licensed Version.

Common WaterMark Features

Each watermark can be created with a set Size and Rotation.
Both Size and Location are relative to the size of each Picture being Watermarked.
Size can be a % of Picture height, width or automatically the smaller.
Location can be aligned to Left or Right and Top or Bottom.
Optionally Location can be set to Centre Across or Down.
WaterMarkes can be Rotated between -90 to + 90 degrees in 1 degree step.
The Transaprency of each WaterMark can be set anywhere from Fully-Opaque to virtually Transparent.

Text WaterMarks

Text WaterMarks can be added either Once or to Fill each Picture being Watermarked.
Options for Text Color are: Fixed, Contrast or Black/White:
  The Unique Contrast Color Feature automatically selects a color
    in Contrast to the Picture beign WaterMarked.
  Fixed Colors can be selected from a Color Palette.
  Black/White Color is automatically selected to contrast with
    the Picture beign WaterMarked.

For Added Contrast, Text can be Outlined in either a Fixed or Contrasting Color.
Text Outlines borders can be Rounded.

The text for Fill-Text WaterMarks can be set to Repeat in Lines.
The number of Fill-Text-Lines set is calculated without rotation.
The number of Line-Spaces between Fill-Text-Lines can be selected.
Rotating Fill-Text will adjust the number of lines displayed
Line-breaks You enter for Fill-Text will be ignored but spaces at the start and end of Fill-Text will be used to space Repeats.

The Text Font used for individual Text WaterMarks can be selected from most True-Type fonts installed on Your PC.

Image WaterMarks

Images Selected as WaterMarks can be any size or shape up to 10,000 pixels wide or high.
Images can be added in a similar way to Text but they use more computing resources taking longer to WaterMark images.
Image WaterMarks can have their Corners Rounded from 0 to 50%.
Square Images will end up as Circular.
Copies of the same Image and be added to be used in different places on your Pictures.
